Low-carb Diet May Stunt Prostate Tumors

On the other hand, a low-carb diet increases the chances that you’ll be hit by a falling 600 lb cow as you’re driving in your minivan; so, is it really a benefit?

Has anyone ever seen a figure on how many of these medical studies are done on a yearly basis?  The problem with this whole glut of medical information is exactly what I described above.  They show that some diet, or exercise, or staying away from some exposure to something might help you in some positive way; but the same advice might just harm or kill you in some other way.  It’s ridiculous.

I wonder how much money would be amassed if they simply put a stop to all this research and lumped it together?  We’d probably be able to pay off the national debt.

In other news, hitting much closer to home.

Almost Two-thirds of Diabetics Risk Amputation

More than six out of ten people with diabetes are walking around in the wrong-sized shoes, exposing themselves to serious foot problems that could lead to amputation, according to research in the November issue of IJCP, the International Journal of Clinical Practice.

I have diabetes, but I’m not concerned with the prospect of having my feet amputated because of my shoes.  I’m more concerned with having other body parts amputated if I continue to tease Mocha-momma in my posts like I just did, and have done numerous times in the past.

I propose a massive government-funded study to determine the link between diabetes and people not knowing their own proper shoe size.

Seriously, don’t give up pursuing divine healing! I know God has that for you. I will be doing some posting on the wisdom on healing that is also in the book “Turnings.”

I’ll volunteer for that study; they can send me a sample of 100 pairs of different type of sneakers—such as top of the line Nikes and Reeboks—and I’ll tell them which ones work the best. They should throw in some samples for women sizes as well (MM and Hannah’s sizes) so they can determine if a diabetic can tell the difference between men’s and women’s sizes.
