While we were out at the Minnesota Zoo yesterday, I decided to jump in with this Russian bear and practiced for when we go up camping to the BWCA next month. I slapped him around a little bit—just to let him know who’s the boss—and he got as far away from me as he could get. I think I’m ready. Those Minnesota bears won’t stand a chance.
I’m looking forward to some good bird watching when we’re up there; although, this is one particular bird I hope we don’t see circling over our camp site—a king vulture.
